Health Talks

Quality Forum 2016: Health TalksHealth Talks is an annual evening event, taking place on the night of March 1. It’s a perfect activity for those who attend a pre-Forum session, arrive in Vancouver for the Forum, or for anyone seeking an inspirational end to their work day.

Eight engaging and passionate speakers will answer our question:

What are your hopes for health care?

But Health Talks’ speakers don’t use presentations full of bullet points. They use the PechaKucha 20×20 format, where each presentation contains 20 photos and each photo is displayed for exactly 20 seconds before automatically advancing to the next one.

The night also features a ceremony to recognize the winners of the BC Patient Safety & Quality Council’s annual Quality Awards, which celebrate improvements in quality of care across eight categories.

We’re Looking for a Student!

Enter our Health Talks Student Contest, and you could be one of the event’s eight speakers. The deadline is November 13.

Health Talks is an incredible event, and audience feedback is always overwhelmingly positive. Want to see what’s in store? Watch videos of last year’s presentations:
