Registration is now open for Quality Forum 2020! In addition to our two main days of breakout sessions on February 26 and 27, we offer the option of attending a full-day pre-Forum session on Tuesday, February 25. This year, there are three pre-Forum sessions you can choose from:
Deep Dive Session: Creating Connections for Health
We are pleased to continue our pre-Forum partnership with the Joint Collaborative Committees for the fourth year in a row! This session will feature workshops, storyboards and presentations, including a keynote presentation from Dr. Danièle Behn Smith. This year’s theme – Creating Connections for Health – will focus on providers, patients and families who have formed partnerships, teams and networks to improve care. Click here to learn more.
Deep Dive Session: Unleashing Compassion to Overcome Burnout
This highly interactive pre-Forum session will flip the script on the burnout conversation and explore how we can unleash compassion for ourselves and for each other to create more engaging, joyful and fulfilling workplaces. Join us as we dive deep to not only understand what individuals can do to improve their well-being, but also what system-level factors can be leveraged to establish a more compassionate culture as an antidote for burnout. Field Trip: Ushering In a New Age of Culturally Safe & Integrated Primary Care
This field trip is hosted in partnership with the First Nations Health Authority and Lu’ma Native Housing Society. It’s a special opportunity to learn about First Nations-led primary care with a tour of the Lu’ma Medical Centre, which provides integrated primary health care that is culturally safe and accessible for individuals and families in the urban Vancouver community. Health Talks is our annual evening event, and will take place the evening of Tuesday, February 25. It is a perfect activity for those who attend a pre-Forum session, arrive in Vancouver for the Forum, or for anyone seeking an inspirational end to their work day. Click here to learn more.
