Simplifying the Journey

March 1 | | 0815 – 1730 | $125

Currently, our BC health care system is undergoing a profound transformation in the way we deliver care for patients. This full-day interactive session offered the opportunity for family physicians, specialists, allied health providers, policy leaders, patients, and families to learn from each other and align efforts in building a truly integrated system of care. The day focused on simplifying the health care journey around three key health system priorities, recognizing that all elements connect and intersect with each other:

  • Primary Care Journey
  • Surgical Care Journey
  • Rural Care Journey

Participants engaged in lively and thought-provoking dialogue throughout the day, and had opportunities for planning to support future innovation and transformation in practical, collaborative ways – in practice settings, the provider community and in the community as a whole. A full report outlining the results of the day is available here.

Support for registration, travel and accommodation was available for practicing physicians who wish to attend Forum events. For a registration code, or for general information, please email:
