Submission Guidelines

Our call for abstracts is closed! Thank you to everyone who submitted an abstract – we received more than ever before!

In case you would like to know more about our abstract process, we’ll leave its original information below.

You can submit abstracts on any topics related to providing better care for patients, fostering high quality health systems or improving conditions for those who work within it. Projects can be ideas or works in progress (learn more about the two categories) and they do not have to be considered successful – failures provide valuable learning opportunities, too!

Guidelines for Presentation Styles

You can choose to have your abstract considered for either rapid fire presentation or storyboard display – or both!

Rapid Fire Presentations
Share your work through a 10-minute oral presentation – engaging with participants using slides, video or other media – followed by an 8 minute Q&A period, during which you’re welcome to ask the audience questions for discussion as well.

Storyboards
Display a 44″ by 44″ poster throughout the Forum. A storyboard reception will be held on the evening of Wednesday, February 27, 2019 – day 1 of the main Forum programming – providing an opportunity to network and receive feedback on your work from other participants. A few storyboards, as decided by a judging panel at the event, will receive special acknowledgment.

Guidelines for Submitting Abstracts

  3. From the menu on the left-hand side of the screen, select “Submit a New Abstract”
  4. Add presenter information and project details
